My creative path is defined by two parallel landscapes: the unbounded expanse of nature and the structured geometry of the city.

I am also deeply interested in the human landscape – the traces, patterns, and transformations left by people as they interact with their surroundings. Whether subtle or monumental, these marks reveal how human presence continually redefines the environment, shaping both physical space and our collective sense of place.

In open spaces, I search for the quiet pulse of the land – its shifting light, textures, and seasonal rhythms. In urban environments, I am drawn to the ways architecture and human presence reshape space, and how fleeting light can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

This approach resonates with the spirit of New Topographics – a way of seeing that embraces both beauty and banality, treating the constructed and the natural with equal attention. I view the landscape and the cityscape not as opposites, but as connected layers of the same environment, shaped by time, history, and human intervention.

Whether I am waiting for mist to rise over a valley or for shadows to align perfectly along a concrete wall, my intent is the same: to capture the dialogue between permanence and change. Landscape photography grounds me in the enduring forces of nature; cityscape photography keeps me attuned to the evolving theatre of urban life. Together, they form a visual narrative that invites viewers to pause, look closer, and find poetry in the familiar.
